Healthy Dim Sum
You may not have connected dim sum with health but...
it is actually the healthiest fast food around.

The fact is, rice and soya offer more nutrition that wheat products.

Many dumplings have only seafood in them, and others have healthful soy bean sheets, tofu and bean sprouts as components. You may also choose from stuffed eggplants, green peppers and fish porridge. Servers come by with dishes of baby bok choy, snow-pea sprouts and Chinese broccoli stir-fried with garlic, a potent antioxidant and immune function booster.

Even when dim sum is fried, the oils used are most often vegetable oils and not animal fat.  Deep-fried dim sum is high in calories, so order them as special treats.
